BREAST UPLIFT
Breast uplift surgery, known as mastopexy, is a procedure where the breasts are lifted from their resting position, so that they give a more natural shape and profile.
The most common cause for breast uplift surgery is to reduce sagging, that can be caused by a number of reasons including; loss of volume after having children, natural ageing, drastic weight loss, and the gravitational pull on the breast tissue.
Breast Uplift Surgery
The techniques employed by our breast uplift surgeon ensure there is minimal bruising and more importantly minimal scarring. This means the results are more pleasing on the eye and a more youthful profile will be achieved.
The techniques also mean that the breast lift recovery period is much more comfortable and quicker than with traditional forms of breast uplift surgery.
Breast Uplift Before and After Pictures
We have many breast lift surgery before and after pictures, which show you the results and the improvements that can be achieved. At your consultation with our plastic surgeon, we would be delighted to show you a selection of these breast uplift surgery pictures.
Breast Uplift Cost and Information
Breast lift surgery is quite common in women over the age of 40. Some of our patients often combine the breast uplift and breast augmentation to give them more volume and better shape, and our breast surgeon would help you make the right decision based on his many years of experience.
At the end of your breast uplift consultation, our client coordinator will discuss your tailored price, based on the recommendations and decision reached between you and our breast cosmetic surgeon.
Twilight Sedation and Breast Uplift Recovery
Breast lift surgery at Castlefield Clinic is carried out under Twilight Sedation (local anaesthetic with sedation), which minimises the risks normally associated with a general anaesthetic. The technique of anaesthesia also means that there is less bruising and a quicker breast uplift recovery period without the need for an overnight stay.
During your recovery period, you will be provided with tailored and comprehensive after care to ensure everything runs smoothly. You should expect to be back to work after 7 days, but can resume limited daily activities within 3 or 4 days. Our expert team of nurses and doctors will guide you through your recovery period and will be there every step of the way.
